The "Magic Circle" is the first in a series of collectively organised R-Lab workshops engaging the public realm that will focus this coming Fall semester on the Polish architect, urban planner, teacher and theorist Oskar Hansen (1922-2005) organised in conjunction with INDEX Foundation in Stockholm under the direction of Axel Wieder, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, with Aleksandra Kędiorek project coordinator and curator.  The exhibition at INDEX, "Pedagogies of Space: Oskar Hansen and Open Form" will become an experimental platform for this year's R-Lab workshop that will engage students and the gallery public using experimental game theory tactics. The goal will be to investigate and test alternative forms of public interaction in the context of this exhibition.
