Scandinavia’s first hbt-themed film festival was held in 2011. Short film of the year was the Swedish film En dag på landet [A day in the country] by Pella Kågerman and Hugo Lilja.

The citation speaks about how the sexual scenes may shock audiences but that “their provocative and pornographic imagery is dealt with in such a way that it acts as an opener, drawing one into this well-scripted and cleverly directed multidimensional story that investigates the shifting dynamics in the context of a relationship”.
